The Seventh Sarajevo UN World Interfaith Harmony Week

February 4th to 9th, 2019.

International Forum Bosna is pleased to announce that, with the sponsorship of Sarajevo Old Town Municipality, it will be hosting the following programme of six events for the Seventh Sarajevo UN World Interfaith Harmony Week.

February 4th (Monday), 2019, at 18:00 hours (ul. Sime Milutinovića 10/III), a public lecture by Rusmir Mahmutćehajić on The Philosophy of Religion and Social Pluralism in Bosnia.
February 5th (Tuesday), 2019, at 18:00 hours (ul. Sime Milutinovića 10/III), a public discussion on An anthropological perspective on Bosnia, Safet Hadžimuhamedović’s new book Waiting for Elijah: Time and Encounter in a Bosnian Landscape.
February 6th  (Wednesday), 2019, at 18:00 hours at the Sarajevo Old Town Municipality Great Hall (ul. Zelenih beretki br. 4), a public conversation between Rusmir Mahmutćehajić and the Major of Sarajevo Old Town municipality, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, on The Future of Sarajevo.
February 7th (Thursday) 2019, at 18:00 (ul. Sime Milutinovića 10/III), a public discussion on The Future of Interfaith dialogue: Muslim-Christian Encounters through A Common Word, eds. Yazid Said and Lejla Demiri.
February 8th  (Friday) 2019, at 18:00 (ul. Sime Milutinovića 10/III), a public discussion on Discovering the beauty of Bosnian literature through Lejla Nakaš's new book Paratextuality in mediaeval Bosnian literature
February 9th  (Saturday) 2019 at 19:00 at the Sarajevo Old Town Municipality Great Hall (ul. Zelenih beretki br. 4), Musica Sacra Bosnae: An Evening with the Pontanima Choir.

These events form the programme of the Seventh Sarajevo UN World Interfaith Harmony Week, being organised by International Forum Bosnia in response to the UN General Assembly's initiative of October 20th , 2010.

All events are open to all members and friends of International Forum Bosnia and the media.
